I make handcrafted jewelry and leather products, rings, belts, bags, harnesses, pendants, and a few other trinkets and knick knacks..I am moving to New Orleans in a couple of weeks and want to be able to sell these items in the city legally, I am not looking to start a small business or incorporate it, its more of a hobby..but I would like to see some returns so I can buy more materials. I have looked into vending licenses, sales permits, but all I get is stuff about vending machines and building permits I have no clue where to start…any help would be much appreciated.

I just recently moved to El Paso from Austin…I make handcrafted jewelry and have a website, but I’m interested in selling my jewelry at craft shows/fairs. In Austin, it is not difficult to find these venues. However, I can’t seem to find any information about arts and crafts fair for El Paso. Does anyone know where I can find information about local shows? Thanks so much for any information you can provide.
